How did I manage to miss this?

Lost Boys: The Tribe

For years there's been discussion about a sequel to The Lost Boys but it looks like they finally made it.

View the trailer here.

It could be up there with Terminator 2 as a sequel, or it could soon be sharing a shelf with Police Academy 7.

Only time will tell.

Non-US restricted link here, and check out Corey Haim whining about not being included, and the better second trailer. I'm having mixed feelings about it.

I could see the one I posted quite OK so maybe the link I has was just anti-Europe? And it took me a few minutes to realise Corey Haim was Corey Haim. Boy has he changed.

Looks like they are just rehashing the story, with gender of two leads swapped...and surfboards instead of motorbikes. Surfboards. I mean, really. Sooooo not scary. I'm bitterly disappointed because it looks a bit lame. :-(
